Face 2 Face gets second round of joint funding.

Conceived and developed by box, the application Face 2 Face aims to engage children's imaginations, developing their artistic skills and expanding horizons. Due for general release in 2007, its initial release will help pupils appreciate the range of national, regional, religious and ethnic identities within Britain's cultural diversity.

The project focuses on children's natural interest in chatting, drawing and discovery, to engage them in a range of curriculum areas, from citizenship to history, IT and language development. Box has already worked on a range of education projects, but this is the first time the company has ventured into product development.

As a result, we are working closely with and directing education experts, including The Association of Citizenship Teachers, BECTa, and Ebbio to help develop the application.
